Join the fun and participate in this latest contest at Wild Hare Gallery. Enrollment is open to all ages. $10 entry fee includes one 2” wood block that you may decorate in your favorite style. Additional blocks available for $5. Stop at the gallery to claim yours soon - when the blocks run out, the enrollment will close.
Decorated blocks are due back at the gallery by 4PM November 7th. They will hang from the gallery ceiling for the month of November and everyone is invited to cast their vote for the winners in several categories. Winners will be announced at the gallery reception on Thursday, December 4th which will also kick off our annual Christmas Bazaar.

This class is for beginners - don’t be intimidated! Never picked up a brush before? This one is for you! We are going to create at least one design or landscape but the main focus of this class is learning some basic watercolor techniques that all beginners need. We will practice basic brush strokes that we will use to create texture, get a handle on how much water is enough and how much is too much, we will use primarily wet-in dry techniques and add some mixed media embellishments. At the end of the day we will have a better understanding of how water color paints work and how to use their unique characteristics to your advantage.
All supplies included in cost, but you are welcome to bring your own favorites to use!

Stamp, Doodle and Coil
