Omnia Mashaly

Artist Bio

Omnia moved from Egypt in 2020.  In Egypt she studied at Faculty of Fine Arts at Alexandria University the Graphic Department.  In 2010 she completed a 5 year program emphasizing a major in Graphic Design.  In Egypt she worked as a web designer for 5 years. In 2012 she began working as a freelance artist combining her background in graphic design and fine art. She sold her work at Creative Egypt, a market featuring locally made, hand crafted work in Cairo.  Currently, Omnia shows her work at Wild Hare Gallery in Travelers Rest, SC and in private shows throughout the south. 

Artist Statement

Art is my passion.  It is a universal language that transcends the barriers of nationality. The language of art in my birth country, Egypt, is the same as here in my adopted country, United States.  Art has always been the greatest way for me to express my self and my feelings to others. It breathes life into me and continually helps me discover new depths in myself.  Like a sculptor’s solid rock, art reveals itself to me, and through it I reveal myself to others. It is passion.
